Should I remove my tea bag before adding in milk?
How to make the perfect cup of tea is long disputed, but there are a few things we think make for a more delicious brew. Adding the milk before the bag is removed makes it more difficult for the tea to infuse, so we always recommend removing it beforehand.
How long does my tea bag need to brew?
How long your tea needs to infuse will depend on the tea you are making, and of course personal preference. We recommend following the brewing instructions provided with your tea, but as a rough rule of thumb whole leaf teas need 3 - 5 mins to infuse.
How should I dispose of my tea bags?
All Good & Proper Tea tea bags are 100% compostable. Though they would break down eventually in your home compost, if you have a food waste bin then this is the best place to dispose of them. Once collected by your local council, the tea bags will be broken down under industrial conditions within 8-12 weeks. Find out more about disposing of our tea bags.
